After the dog match, I played with my mom Kayla, my aunt Hannah, and my littermate Seamus (fka Frazier).

Laila's first puppy match

All of the dogs up for Vizsla Best Puppy were Laila's brothers and sisters. Seamus (fka Frazier) and Laila are littermates from the Owe'n / Kayla litter, and Cooper and Ariel are littermates from the Owe'n / Ginger litter earlier in 2007. Laila (f) and Seamus (m) each won Best Vizsla puppy in the 3-6 month age group, and Cooper (m) and Ariel (f) each won Best Vizsla puppy in the 6-9 month age group. Cooper won Best Vizsla Puppy, but Laila was in the close running. Many thanks to everyone who helped with Laila's first match! She really enjoyed herself!

Park fun

Kelsey

I got to play with Kelsey (owned by Jason and Caroline) at Riverside Park again today. I love to play chase with her. We met a couple other dogs, but Kelsey is still my best friend.

My first lacrosse game

I saw my very first lacrosse game today! Renee's brother Phil was playing for Essex Community College against St. Mary's College of Maryland. I really enjoyed running in the park behind the field.

Exhausted....

I can hunt!

I chased pigeons and squirrels today at the park! It was so much fun!! I almost caught a group of pigeons, but they kept just out of reach! My mom says that I'm not allowed to catch a "Baltimore Pigeon" - whatever that means - but they looked pretty fun to me.

A Visit from Christina and John Sawyer

My mom's friends Christina and John visited me today. They were so nice and smelled so good! I tried to nibble on Christina's scarf, but my mom said it was bad manners. She spoils all of my fun.

The five of us (my mom, my dad, John, Christina, and myself) went to Riverside Park to play. It was great to have so much attention. We played running games with sticks, squeeky balls, and my bully stick.

While we were there, we met Ollie. He was my size, but he turned out to be a not-so nice 10 month old puppy. He didn't play fair. I also played with Maggie, a really nice golden retriever. We met before, and I like her a lot. I also met a border collie named Finn who was beautiful, clean, fast, and smart. He played catch with John for 20 minutes. Everyone says that I'm so cute and beautiful. But when I grow up, I want to be just like my collie friend.

It was chilly when we came home. My mom made some hot chocolate and hot tea for the people, and I fell asleep on John's lap with my new stuffed hedgehog named "BOODA".

I finally fit into my coat

I woke up today and realized that I finally fit into my coat! I love it so much that I didn't want to come back inside.
