Time to carve pumpkins! The first thing to do was to get all of the guts out of the pumpkin.

I let my dad do that job.
*sniff* *sniff*

Gross!
My dad carved a crazy-scary jack-o-lantern, but I helped my mom carve a kitty popping out of a pumpkin. Some of the little kids got scared when they saw my dad's pumpkin, but they all loved MY pumpkin.
Trick-or-Treat, 2009!

Proof that my mom loves me

Around the house, I found proof that my mom loves me!
By the front door.
On a shelf.
On the fireplace mantel.
On a shelf in the living room.
On another shelf in the living room.

See! My mom really does love me!!!

Say it ain't so

I went to visit my dad's human family at my Grandmom Bonnie's house this past weekend. All of the food smells wonderful, and I get lots of pets, cuddles, kisses, and treats. Everyone loves me!

The last few times I've visited, a little furball named Spencer has been there.
He's cute and all, but no competition for me.
HEY!!! Now wait just a minute!

Those are MY cuddles, and Spencer is stealing them!
Dawn, please don't give that piece of cake to Spencer! I thought you loved me best?!?

I thought it was time to have a conversation with this little guy named Spencer so that we could clear up some misunderstandings. Namely, that I am the only one who should be getting treats and cuddles. And that it might be best if he went home.
Huh? What do you mean that you LIVE here?? My grandmom Bonnie would never cheat on me.
Mom, tell him that he is wrong! And tell him to go home!

Unfortunately, my mom said that he was telling the truth. Bonnie was his human, and he did live there.
This is very upsetting news. At least my Mom still loves me.

White Hanger of Doom

On the days that my mom goes to work, she gets all dressed up in clothes that hang on white plastic things in the closet. I know it's going to be a bad day when she gets one of those white hanger things out of the closet.

I hate it when she leaves me.
So, I started thinking:

If there aren't any more plastic things, she won't be able to hang up her work clothes. Without any work clothes, she couldn't go to work anymore. And if she can't go to work, she will have to stay home and cuddle with me all day. Right?
Well, that's what I was thinking when I tried to eat the the plastic hanging thing that my mom left on the floor last week.
Turns out that it wasn't such a good idea after all.

Sorry, Mom!

"There's a hole in that cake!"

Don't blame me, Dad.

Mom is the one who baked the cake with a hole in it.
I was just trying to fix it.
